AIF I-Style Water Hammer Arrester
Description
The AIT/AIF Type I Water Hammer Absorber, also known as a Pulsation Dampener, is designed to absorb the impact caused by the sudden stoppage of water flow due to the rapid closure of shut-off valves, dishwashers, or washing machines. This prevents noise and potential damage from water hammer effects.
• Utilizes a diaphragm to create a compressed air chamber, absorbing water hammer based on the principle of compressed air cushioning.
• Water hammer is an unstable pressure wave; the diaphragm is made of soft rubber, providing a quick response and improving upon the sluggish reaction of traditional air cylinders.
Features
• Protects pipelines from water hammer effects.
• Reduces backflow pressure by buffering/absorbing return pressure.
• Adjustable airbag pressure design for a quick response to water hammer effects.
• Suitable for both horizontal and vertical installation.
• Easy to maintain, with maintenance parts available upon request.

AIF I-Style Water Hammer Arrester
AIF I-type water hammer arrester effectively prevents noise and pipeline damage caused by water hammer. Its internal diaphragm forms a compressed air chamber, utilizing compressed gas to absorb water hammer energy and stabilize pressure fluctuations
